Deine Mission:
- Own the design and maintenance of automated tests for web, API, and performance scenarios.
- Define test strategies, analyze requirements, and ensure full feature coverage.
- Apply a shift-left approach, engaging early in the development cycle to surface risks and prevent defects before implementation.
- Improve QA automation architecture and contribute to scalable, maintainable testing practices.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and strengthen overall automation maturity.
- Mentor less experienced QA engineers and support the team in solving complex quality challenges.
- Maintain clear test documentation and regularly report on quality status.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure smooth delivery and consistent quality.
- Perform manual testing where automation is not yet applicable.
Was du mitbringst:
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation
- Proven expertise in Playwright for web automation, including designing and maintaining test frameworks
- String experience with API Automation (Supertest or similar)
- Proficient in load testing using JMeter
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
- Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions
- Deep understanding of software testing principles and QA processes, including shift-left approach to testing and quality
- Experience designing and implementing automated test strategies
- Ability to mentor less experienced QA engineers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git
- Ability to stay updated with industry trends and technologies
- Experience improving test performance, stability, or coverage
- Experience setting up advanced test execution environments in CI/CD
- Strong interest in test-infrastructure optimization and automation
- Experience with performance monitoring and analyzing system bottlenecks
- Broader cloud knowledge or scripting experience that enhances automation workflows
